Anne McCue

Bluesy songstress and multi-instrumentalist Anne McCue has released her 6th studio album – Blue Sky Thinkin’ . McCue recorded and produced the album alongside Dusty Wakeman (Lucinda Williams, Dwight Yoakam) in Los Angeles and Nashville. The album has been mastered by Ray Kennedy in Nashville. The album reunites the band from her critically acclaimed ‘Roll’ album and allows Anne to explore some of her favourite influences, including Billy Holiday, Charlie Christian, Howlin’ Wolf, Memphis Minnie, Astor Piazzola, Peggy Lee, Irving Berlin, Django Reinhardt, Hoagy Carmichael, Bessie Smith…

“I’ve been a fan of guitarist/singer/songwriter Annie McCue for many years so I’m very honored and happy about singing with her on a damn fine song for her upcoming album. She wrote the song with John Hadley and the brilliant David Olney. You can’t go wrong with such talent.” -Dave Alvin

“I had done some gigs with Annie McCue out in California and thought that besides her phenomenal playing and great songs she had a unique presence. She has an angelic quality to her but also a Charlie Chaplin-esque vibe. Fearless and tender and alluring.” -David Olney

Alternative Country icon Lucinda Williams has said of McCue: “Initially, her stunning voice hooked me in. Then I got inside the songs. The first chance I got, I went to see her perform . . . I was floored!”

Ashleigh Flynn opens…

Like the Ohio to muddy Ol’ Miss, Ashleigh Flynn follows her troubadour heart. Ashleigh Flynn grew up in Kentucky and cut her teeth on local bluegrass music. She arrived on the national Americana scene in 2008 with the release of her third record, American Dream, and continues playing national and international stages to critical acclaim with the release of her most recent studio effort A Million Stars (2013).  One of the Pacific NW most respected modern troubadours, 2016 has been a great year for Flynn – she released a LIVE EP The Low Arc of the Sun, which has received acclaim from notable Americana rags including No Depression. Of late, Flynn has performed at 30A Songwriters Fest 2016, Red Ants Pants 2016, Delfest 2015, High Sierra Music Festival 2015, Vancouver Folk Festival 2014, and toured the country both under her own name and as support for such notables as Todd Snider, Hayes Carll, the Wood Brothers, Billy Joe Shaver, Nanci Griffith and more – all with great reviews and a growing fan base! She was featured by Folk Alley during her stay at 2016 30A Songwriter Festival.  Flynn also recently contributed to an Emmylou Harris tribute CD which her version of Red Dirt Girl received accolades from RollingStone and Elmore Magazine.
